Returns, exchange and warranty

Computer components are technically complex goods. Goods of proper quality in that category are not subject to exchange or return.

The Seller states this before payment, including on every product page and in the order confirmation. Placing an order means the Buyer has been so informed.

Where a defect is found, the Buyer may at their choice require replacement with goods of the same make, replacement with equivalent goods of another make with a price adjustment, a proportionate reduction in price, free rectification of the defect, or a refund of the amount paid.

The claim is made in writing with proof of purchase attached. The Seller arranges a quality inspection.

Where the cause of the defect is disputed, the Seller commissions an expert examination at its own expense. The Buyer may attend it and may challenge the conclusion in court.

The warranty period for each item is stated on its product page and matches the manufacturer's official term. The Seller does not shorten it.

The warranty period runs from the day the goods are handed to the Buyer.

Mechanical damage, evidence of liquid ingress, damage from voltage fluctuation, and damage from failure to observe operating instructions.

Damage arising during self-installation, including bent socket contacts, chipped dies and damaged connectors.

Evidence of opening or repair where the design does not provide for it, and removed or unreadable serial numbers.

A refund is issued by the same method as the payment, within the period set by the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights.

When returning goods the Buyer hands them over in the same completeness in which they were received, together with the documents evidencing purchase.
